They are still restricting firearms purchases to those 21 and over. I just can't bring myself to boycott Bi-Mart, it's one of the best places to buy ammo, crab traps, boat accessories, oil/oil filters, fishing gear and other items.

I get it, BiMart has been my favorite for almost three decades. It's a shame really, but if we don't make a stand now I'm very fearful it's going to spiral into an ugliness nobody wants to see.

I don't believe the 21 age rule is a bad thing at all.

Perhaps it isn't. But what about other age requirements? If an 18 year old isn't mature or responsible enough, based strictly on age, to own a firearm, then they darn sure aren't mature enough to vote. Yet there is an effort to lower the voting age to 16...
