I have a very nice CVA 1861 Navy that appears to have had Very little use. Steel frame. Only markings on it are a CVA emblem on right side of frame and in small letters on the top " Connecticut Valley Arms Inc" and in small letters on the bottom under the loading lever "Black Powder Only Cal .36 Made in Italy. Nice starter gun for someone. Same gun was our first black powder pistol. They are a riot to shoot and more accurate than you might expect. I prefer my .36 to my .44 GLWS.
