colt 1908
The Model 1908 Vest Pocket is a compact, hammerless, striker-fired, semi-automatic single-action pistol. Manufactured by the Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1908 to 1948, it was marketed as a small concealable firearm which could be easily tucked into a vest pocket for unobtrusive carry. Designed by John Moses Browning, the Model 1908 followed Browning's earlier European version, introduced by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal as the FN Model 1906. Both pistols were chambered for the Browning-invented .25 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) cartridge.
These are two blued, .380 ACP, 7 round magazines for a Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless pistol.

Case color on safety's and trigger are in nice shape. Not perfect. But overall not bad for being 102 years old.

Going for a long shot here. Three decades ago, I owned a rather unremarkable Colt model 1908 Hammerless, cambered in .380. It had some pitting on the frame and slide and had been refinished in OD green in a duracoat like product. About 25 years ago or so, I made a mistake and sold that pistol...
Obviously refinished. It looks rougher in pictures than it does in person, and the function is buttery smooth. Springs feel strong, I'd guess they've been replaced. One magazine
It's a shooter, rather than a collector. Serial 45775, Colt's serial lookup shows it as being manufactured in 1911...
I'm looking for a .25 auto pocket gun, I would like a Dreyse Vest, Colt 1908 or a Mann .25 if anyone has one. Please let me know what you have and send me a price. I have a C&R and would be looking to take it in on that.
Thanks
