Wildcat Mountain

This was my second time up there much nicer on a week day heard one other group shooting. Spent a while cleaning got two trash bags and you couldn't tell I picked up anything. Some of the shooting lanes are really stupid also. But if you're out there alone its pretty nice also saw a bobcat on the drive up.

Shot here with a friend for the first time. Driving on the route from east of Portland there are about 3 sites we ran into. There is one spot before the address on TNL, then one after on the right side. The first spot has the largest parking for groups, TNL address spot maybe max 2 cars and the one down the road on the right side has a single spot for a vehicle. Lots of trash when we arrived included random things people left out there after shooting.

Also was not a huge fan of the curving roads there.

Went there today, it was accessible but bad conditions which I kind of expected. Melting snow, mud, etc. No one there and I didn't see a lot of trash laying around.

I have been going here for a couple of years now. Unfortunately the crowd has been abusing the land; shooting trees, cars and starting fires just to name some. Not to mention not cleaning up after themselves. I'm thinking it won't be long before this area is off limits to rev. shooting.

This is my family's and my selfs favorite spot to go for hand gun practice and just plinking with the 22lr. Wonderful spot never had any problems with other groups. Every one does there best to keep the area clean and free of brass. But I think in the future we will need to do a group meet and great and a little more clean up.

Went here for this first time today with some friends from church. It was my first time shooting since I have moved up to the Portland area. It was nice. Close range-Medium range shots. Multiple spots within the spot to set up targets and shoot. Not too trashed. We had the whole place to our selves for the whole day.
