I bought diamond membership to be able to use the tactical bay twice a month for two hours. Absolutely worth it. The guys are always helpful and professional/courteous.
Went in to buy a gift for the GF. They were very professional. Things were a bit more expensive, but it was worth the trip for the variety. Nice clean place.
Friend of mine is a member and reserved bay 3 for 2 hours for us to shoot. It was awesome to have the whole bay to ourselves, to be able to move and shoot as well as practice shooting at multiple targets.
1st class facility--newer, clean, good ventilation system
Friendly, helpful staff
This review primarily addresses the shooting range. I shoot here on a fairly regular basis. Usually week days--and rarely see problems with over-crowding. Could be different on weekends and other times.
As mentioned it's a first class facility. Occasionally, I've experienced a burned out light or issues with a target traveler. Usually, not a big deal. A range session is $20, which is comparable to the other ranges I shoot at. But there is also an annual membership fee--Bronze is the least expensive at $35. If you go regularly the added cost is incidental to the quality of the facility.
I have used the on-site gunsmith service a couple of times. Both times I had sights mounted on pistols. Very pleased with the work performed.
The gun shop seems pretty well stocked. They do stock some high-end guns--which are fun to look at. I also purchased a carrying case from them and found the price to be competitive.
I highly recommend them if you're looking for a 1st class indoor range.
We visited for Glock days and overpaid for a new Glock. I didn't mind so much because the event gave my partner a chance to fire one for next to nothing before purchasing, so it helped a bunch for our current situation.
When I returned to pick up the pistol, still more meh service. Not bad, but nothing at all remarkable. Coupled with the high prices, this will not be my top stop in the future. Having said that, they did fill a need that I had and I am glad they were there.
The range is clean and well maintained. Good selection of pistols to rent, but only a fair number of rifles.
Pro Shop staff is knowledgeable and helpful in finding a good firearm fit. I found my favorite pistol on their recommendation: Bul Armory Government. I did not know this existed until they introduced it to me.
Basically a knowledgeable, friendly staff with a very good gunsmith. Got my ar15 barrel dimpled, shortened and coated beautifully. Will definitely return.
Nice, clean range with AR500 wall separations and good, functioning equipment
Great ROs and staff, instructors are also fantastic
Convenient location
Cons
A bit pricey, $35 bronze membership + $20 per range trip at the minimum
Just overall a very fine establishment. Clean, well maintained range, service is great and staff/ROs/instructors are very knowledgeable. They raised prices in 2022 though, lanes are now $20 with a $35 a year bronze membership.
They do waiting lists for free, no deposit required.
This is great, I get a call when something comes in, and its held for me 1 day so I can go evaluate in person.
Not all gun stores do this.
Not the cheapest place around, but I make use of their waiting list service.
Nothing but positive interactions, though they showed no interest in competing on $... and that's ok

Cons
Not exactly price-competitive
In this time of limited supply and high demand, I honestly don't begrudge dealers from pricing for maximum profit - I didn't feel gouged, but the prices I paid were definitely above the MAP found online. But they were able to get the items I wanted, the processes were efficient, and their service was very good, and so I would still wholeheartedly recommend West Coast Armory.
My home range and was my primary transfer point for out of state purchases. The prices are a bit high but they can be negotiated if you find a similar listing locally. They will do a bit of price matching.
Inventory is down due to COVID and supply chain problems for raw material.
Very knowledgeable workers from early 20's to maybe 40's from my emcounters
Decent selection of stuff that other shops don't carry on hand
No matter when or how I walk in im treated the same way. Greeted soon as I walk in. No judgment, no assumptions. I'm just a firearms enthusiast just like them is how they make me feel.
Cons
They're kinda far from me lol
The reason I mention being treated the same each visit is from experiences at other shops. Whether they remember me or not, some days when I'm on my day off im in some black baggy jeans, black backwards hat and hoodie. The next time I come in straight from work in a fitted 3 piece suit and tie and im treated the same positive way each time I visit Bellevue. They don't assume anything they're just friendly and willing to help however they can. That is why I'll always go back.
Other places i get ignored (suit) or they're up my @$$ worse than my shadow (jeans) lol I'm sure you can imagine how one would get treated differently, maybe.
Employees friendly but are slow to disclose and share laws and possible outcomes
The current staff is very friendly, and the prices in Bellevue location are not anything to write home about but not astronomically above most others ($30-60$ more than Wades and Discount). Was disappointed at the lack of education given or probing into purchase reasoning (so they could maybe recommend something better suited to the purchasers needs etc not for any negative reasons of course). Unfortunately I have found that upon speaking to all but one stafffer, the hard and fast knowledge of law is lacking- which is something as a first time gun buyer needs when they are making that exciting first buy! As a matter of a fact my first app was not even filled out properly due to lack of explanation by staff. I really really want to love this place, but considering the weight of their roles in effective pistol purchasing- I found them to be lacking.
The range is awesome, been there many times and I have no gripes there!
Clean indoor facility, wide lanes (particularly the Gold lanes), friendly staff that are knowledgeable and enthusiasts. They have a rentable cleaning station (included in some membership levels) and a great assortment of rentable weapons.
Cons
Can get busy and service can be slow during these times. If you're a lifetime member you'll often wait for new members rather than be served at a different counter/window. Other than that, this place is about as perfect as you'll find...
This is the premier indoor range on the eastside (and now that I think of it, possibly the entire Puget Sound region). Having shot at a variety of indoor ranges from as south as Puyallup and north as Bellingham, this is as nice as it gets.
They also have a pro-shop attached to the range which has an excellent assortment of ammo at competitive prices as well as a wide variety of weapons for sale. I've used their gunsmithing services and they were also excellent.
If you're interested in classes they offer a wide variety of them (by third party vendors). There is also a regular IDPA shoot there -- obviously it's an indoor range, so don't expect the same experience as you would an outdoor one...
Knowledgeable staff with a strong customer focus. Everyone is friendly and helpful. This is my go to shop. Won't go anywhere else.
Cons
Haven't found one!
Shop here. You won't be disappointed. The inventory is always excellent. The staff understands customer service is important and they provide excellent customer service to the newbie and the expert alike. True professionals who enjoy what they do. It's obvious that ownership understands the importance of taking care of the customer and they hire the best to deliver that experience.
Clean, well staffed (usually), range, rentals, reasonable prices
Cons
Crowded at times
Been a range member since it opened, usually no waiting if you time it right. Decent selection of rental items and most staff are friendly and knowledgable. Usually have a reasonable selection of new firearms and prices are reasonable with room for negotiation at times.
