Pros

  • Several class dates and times available
  • Good review of applicable OR gun laws for CHL
Cons
  • A little too much politic and paranoia sprinkled into the class material
+ Easy to schedule online
+Several class dates and times available
+ Good review of applicable OR gun laws for CHL
- Tried to up-sale on training and self-defense insurance
- A little too much politic and 2A paranoia (attended for training, not to go to gun church)
- Need to buy a projector screen (class was projected on an uneven classroom wall)

I've been a member of Tritac for about 6 months now and taken several of their classes and find the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. The range is generally kept tidy, but is small and can fill up quickly.
The basic membership is worth it

Pros
  • Great service
  • nice dudes
  • clean range
  • safety
  • great for handgun practice
Cons
  • only 20 yard range
  • No magnum rated rifle cartridges (but at 20 yards what would be the point anyway)
I go at least once a week.
-Get the basic membership. if you only go twice a month it pays for itself.
they don't charge you for outside ammo inspection with a membership.
-No rate of fire limit, as long as you're hitting what you're aiming at
-Full auto rentals available
-Safety orientated.
They don't linger and hover, and allow shooters to police themselves.
The only time I've seen them get after someone was when they blatantly were breaking some basic firearm safety rules.
-The dividers between the lanes are bulletproof (my guess is some variation of AR500 steel)
excellent customer service

Pros
  • very accessible.
This was my first visit to this range. Very helpful staff. Did good job explaining the rules and setting up an account, (prerequisite to shooting there). I really did not look at their selection so I gave that an average rating.
Cost about $26 bucks for about an hour of time, couple of targets, my ammo, two people. I did get an ex-military discount. The range and sales floor are bright and clean.
Pricey but good

Pros
  • Central Salem Location
Cons
  • A bit pricey
It's good as far as indoor ranges go but you're limited on what you're allowed to shoot caliber-wise. My big disappointment comes from the pricing. Seems a bit high. To go for 1 visit and shoot it's usually around $30 plus $5 per 50 rounds of your ammo plus the targets you have to buy so it ends up being $40-50 per visit. If you have a membership it's probably alot better. I'll put up a pic to give you an idea of what the range looks like.
