Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Good prices, especially after factoring in the licensing fee
Cons
Make sure you have your 'proof of sales tax' on you when doing the initial paperwork
I've purchased both a new weapon from this shop, as well as used them for my FFL for Gunbroker purchases. So I've had 3 exchanges with this shop in the last couple of months
I've used two other local shops, and have not come across the following issue previously. I went to fill out the paperwork to get the background check for the gun I had shipped there; I would have to return to take receipt of the gun, once the check was complete. The woman counterperson asked for proof that I had paid sales tax to the seller. I said I didn't have the receipt on me, can I just bring it when I pick up the gun after background check. 'Nope, violates our process flow protocol. You can't even fill out the background check paperwork without the tax proof'.
Given they had my gun and my $40 for the transfer fee, I did not appreciate such an attitude and lack of flexibility. Obviously, they can run their business any way they want to, but if you want to avoid an extra trip, make sure you have your receipt showing sales tax payment.
Received a can and an online transfer through here, everything was good.
Also purchased a bunch of accessories over the years.
Pretty good crew over here.
Coolest part were the arcade machines, but didn't see them working last time.
I've been a patron for several years now. The employees are friendly and knowledgable. The shop has a great selection of firearms and related items. Their prices are reasonable.
