Been going to Keith's for years. They tend to have the best selection in the area and they also have ammo in stock even during the pandemic. Just like any "hobbyist" or "niche" place the place won't give you warm fuzzies. I find that with pretty much everything, though, be it motorcycles, guns, or any other special interest places. I find the staff to be funny and helpful, but they are usually slammed so they can be short or curt at times. It helps to know what you're looking for. Overall, Keith's is my go to spot for guns and I recommend it, but just curb your expectations for a warm, fuzzy feeling when you walk in.
Usually has things that others don't (during shortages).
Personal attention & assistance.
Store is stuffed with useful product (only room for walking around it all)!
Next door to Owens Meat (Yum).
Cons
Not next door to my house.
This store is one of my sweet spots to stop by when traveling through the area. They seem to always have some product that I can substitute when resources elsewhere have been scarce. The store space is small but is surprisingly crammed with tons of goodies. Prices are fair (not gouging the customer) and the personnel are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend you stopping by and checking this place out (just don't take it all so there is something left for me).
Tim did an excellent job rebarreling and fitting new stock components to a Remington 03A3. Together we returned a "Sporterized" WWII rifle back to original condition.
I have been here a number of times, but have not written a review yet. They are always super friendly and transfers are quick and easy. You don't have to schedule an appointment to do a transfer, which is a huge plus, since so many FFLs require it now.
If you're a WA resident they will be more than happy to help you if you are looking to buy or transfer long guns. They are my go to since 1639 passed in Washington, since they have great service and are pretty close to me. If federal law would let people buy pistols in states other than their state of residence, I'd use them for all my transfers. The only downside is they're located in a "sketchy" part of town.
For a pawnshop, they also have a pretty good selection of firearms (around thirty pistols and maybe two dozen rifles).
This public range is clean, spread out, well taken care of, and has a few decent options for both pistol and rifle practice. Two of the lanes at max can get you about 75-80m of distance for shooting rifle.
This is a great place for driving up, unloading, training efficiently, and hopping right back on the highway.

Pros
Staff knew their stuff and were very helpful and friendly
I had never been into Newport Pawn before despite driving past it x2 a day going to and from work. I was looking for a specific used rifle and someone suggested them. Didn't expect much but was I ever surprised! They have lots of good used firearms at respectable prices. They also have numerous other items of interest to lovers of firearms. All of the staff were very friendly and willing to interact with their customers. Because it is located in downtown Newport parking will always be a challenge. Trust me when I say parking a block over off of 101 and having a nice walk to their store will be well worth your time. I recommend to anyone to see for yourself. From what I saw of their prices there are bargains to be had. I know because I found my bargain there.

Very knowledgeable workers from early 20's to maybe 40's from my emcounters
Decent selection of stuff that other shops don't carry on hand
No matter when or how I walk in im treated the same way. Greeted soon as I walk in. No judgment, no assumptions. I'm just a firearms enthusiast just like them is how they make me feel.
Cons
They're kinda far from me lol
The reason I mention being treated the same each visit is from experiences at other shops. Whether they remember me or not, some days when I'm on my day off im in some black baggy jeans, black backwards hat and hoodie. The next time I come in straight from work in a fitted 3 piece suit and tie and im treated the same positive way each time I visit Bellevue. They don't assume anything they're just friendly and willing to help however they can. That is why I'll always go back.
Other places i get ignored (suit) or they're up my @$$ worse than my shadow (jeans) lol I'm sure you can imagine how one would get treated differently, maybe.
This store has a great crew! I've been there dozens of times and this team is always friendly, and willing to help. Always helpful even when crowded and busy.
No one or two-box limit for ammo sales, assuming it's in stock!
Good selection of equipment, parts, and firearms. And ammo, before the China-virus, with more new ammo coming to their shelves all the time now.
Talk to them ahead of time if you need an FFL transfer; they have a process.
Staff is disengaged and seemingly bored with customers
Staff ignore customers waiting
Small cramped and cluttered shop
Third times the charm - I've been to the Tigard store six times over the last two years, and actually tried to do business with them three of those times. I try really hard to support local businesses and the neighborhood teams but…
The staff always, always seem uninterested in customers and obviously your money, even when there is nobody else in the store shopping.
Ammo - only one box per custom still.
Trades - Ask lots of questions if you are thinking about a trade. They say they give you a "60% cash, and 70% store credit" on traded used guns. If you do that, I recommend you go back a few days later and see if your cash or paper receipt trade value matches what they are selling it for, or actually sold the gun for. Be careful…personal experience.
Been going here for years, used to be a lot easier to snag a range but it's become the worst kept secret in oregon since then. If you want a guaranteed spot, either get here before the sun comes up or after everyone has gone home for the day. Don't forget to pack out what you pack in!
Not wanting to drive 1.5hrs to N. Fork Lanes or east of Mt. Hood this is a great alternative. All I really needed to do was function check a few things which took 20 minutes and this was perfect. You do have to park near the street and hike to the site. Follow the trail and once you get to the fork go right and it shouldn't be too far. Great little spot for pistol roughly 10-15 yards.
Mary and Dan have been in Tacoma for a long time, I bought my first Washington state Firearm from them. They had an amazing selection before the Plague, it is coming back. They have reasonable pricing, they have a good knowledge base. They respect all who come through the door with questions.
Being a woman I found it very refreshing I was not treated like an idiot! I have purchased replacement firearms from them, those terrible boating accidents can take a toll on a girl's gun collection! Once they get to know you, time to time they will bring a surprise from the vaults in the backroom!
We went in and it took for ever to get a staff person to help us (including the 2 of us, there were 3-4 customers in the store). Then, when we did get a staff person to help us, he; 1) thought girls didn't know anything about firearms, and 2) was telling us things that were incorrect about the firearm that we wanted to look at. (Like telling us that it was a different model than what was engraved on the side of the gun*.)
Plus, everything was overpriced. Definetily taking advantage of their customers with "pandemic pricing".
*Which would make sense with the Glock 19X being a combination of the 17 and the 19, but this was a revolver.

Pros
One of the cheapest FFL costs; Very friendly staff
Been having guns sent here for FFL transfers for me for a few years. Staff is great and the cost is one of the lowest in the Metro area. Great place for private party transfers. The guns they have are in good shape and of good quality.
