I found this place when I needed to do a transfer with a seller from Washington. $30 including the background check.

After the transfer I stayed to look at their used and new guns. They have a pretty good selection for a pawn shop.

Several weeks later I was on my way to a popular gun store on Powell Blvd. and I decided to stop at the Money Market again. They had a brand new Gen 4 Glock 19 for $509, which was cheaper than I saw them at gun shows. It was brand new complete with the case, 3 magazines, etc. and I bought it on the spot.

If you are in the market for a Glock check them out.

Have had wonderful experiences with Robert and Mary at RK Gunsmithing in Nampa! My wife and daughter have taken the conceal class from him and I have taken his advanced pistol class. Lots of fun and very edudcational! Have had work done on several firearms and recently purchased a new Ruger LC9 from him. Looking forward to a lifetime friendship andbusiness relationship!

This is my favorite shop hands down. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Some things I'm pretty familiar with and others I'm a total rookie, and they've never made me feel stupid for asking questions.

I believe their prices are pretty competitive but to be honest, I get such good service I wouldn't feel bad if I found out I could've saved a few bucks somewhere else.

I've made a few purchases from them over the last couple years and each time I've visited the place it has gotten cleaner, better lit and had an all-around better selection. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and drop in to find out what they've got.

back when i bought my mossberg 500 i was looking for a specific model and i visited mainy shops anyways though ive never bought a gun from them they have a fair collection for the size of their store and the guy i talked with was real friendly heres where it really gets funny though a couple months later i went to a local gun show and he was there at the time i didnt recognize him but he recognized me and even what i was looking at in the store that to me would make me go back and browse their selection the next time im in the market how many gun shops employees care enough about all their customers to remember a guy who at the time just came in to look?

I have been in this store twice and both times walked out with a new gun. I have been stopping in to several of the other local shops and these guys simply can not be beat. They have great prices, they are friendly, and most of all informed. I really appreciate someone that knows their product and has great customer service. I was a little apprehensive at first because it used to be a pawn shop and was afraid it would just be some slick con artist with shady merchandise but these guys are top notch and their inventory and prices are fantastic. I recommend stopping in if you are in the area. This shop really is a cut above the rest.

Marysville Rifle club is an okay place, the times I have gone there were so-so. Normally whenever I go there with my Dad and a friend, we use the "50-yard" sight-in range. It's not the best place to shoot, too dark. And one day when my Dad and some other people were shooting, I fired up an old 6.5x55mm Swedish Sporter rifle. Everyone was wowed by it's massive report. I was having fun until someone form an adjacent range came over and decided to tell us "what". I was upset that I couldn't shoot because someone was annoyed by a rifle report, He was shooting a 7mm Mag, and my 6.5x55mm was "Too Loud". I know things like shouldn't stop me, but I am not going back if I can't fire my surplus rifle in peace.

Of the three jobs I've had Roger do only the parkerizing worked out ok. For values of ok that assume you want the inside of your barrel parkerized.

The AK that I wanted threaded came back with a crap bead of weld around it. That lasted less than two mags before the weld (which had no penetration) cracked and blew the slant brake off.

I also wanted him to rivet the lower tang on the milled receiver of the AK. That also came back welded instead of riveted.

Roger works cheap. Unfortunately, by the time you replace the parts he destroys and pay a competent smith to do the work right, it's not like you save anything.

It's like the only tool in his box is a arc welder. Sadly, he isn't very good with it.

As a MOD, I cannot share my experience with this person, BUT, I can recommend a Competent Smith for all smithing needs!

Purchased every gun I have (with the exception of my trap gun) from these guys. Karl and the gang are top notch. Sometimes when they're busy, it's hard to get their attention but they're usually nice enough to let me know that they'll be right with me. Noah is a wealth of knowledge, Dennis gets straight to the point and Karl will cut you one **** of a deal if you get him in the right mood :) I got my LMT, LCR, XDM, 22/45 and 15/22 from them. Unlike nearly every vendor on gunbroker.com, they don't charge you a credit card processing fee.

I was at Good Guys twice this summer. I was absolutely shocked that they actually had a Kel-Tec PF9. I've looked all over, and this gun just seemed unobtainable. I was almost ready to order one online sight unseen mostly due to the price over all the other small 9mm guns, but Good Guys had one, and the cheapest price I've ever seen one, so I bought it. Their new store on Crater Lake Ave is much nicer than the old store.

I just purchased a handgun from them and had a very positive experience. I really enjoyed talking to the people there and my purchase was very reasonably priced. I couldn't be happier!

Nice little pawn-turned-gun shop that has a decent selection of uncommon guns. All the employees are a pleasure to deal with (very rare to find... usually there's one or two bad eggs, but not here!) They are also excellent salesmen... at one point I was even talked into purchasing a rail-mounted VFG before I even had a gun to mount it on! As this store operated as a pawn shop prior, you can occasionally find some AMAZING deals here. The best of which I found was finding a $200 LMT SOPMOD stock for AR-15 in new condition at HALF the new price! I have not purchased any firearms here yet, but have been checking out some Marlin 60's they've had for a while, and will most likely be picking at least one of them up!

I gave them a 4/5, but in retrospect I really wish I could change it to a 5/5... it's hard for me to give anyone a perfect score but they deserve it!

There is a reason so many people call this place GunCrappers - Doug is a complete bubblegum.

The excellent selection of firearms draws me in time and time again, but if the high prices aren't enough to scare me off, Doug usually does. I usually go in, honestly hoping that he is busy "educating" other customer publicly, just so I don't have to speak with him.

At one point I heard a young man asking him about consignment on a SPAS-12, to which Doug replied that he was in possession of an NFA, full-auto shotgun, and how illegal it was. It took the guy about 15 minutes to convince Doug that it was a semi-auto, legally-owned weapon. During this time, Doug was walking around, in and out of the backroom doing random things while arguing the whole time. After the whole ordeal, Doug basically just said "well I wouldn't be interested in selling something like that anyway".

Another, more personal experience, was when I went in looking for a AR-15 lower parts kit, and a bolt carrier group. Doug's employee tried to sell me on a DPMS parts kit that was twice what Midway (or any other in-store retailer) would sell it for. Then he went to get Doug to talk to me about the bolt carrier group. Doug did his whole "you can't build AR-15's from parts because they blow up" bullbubblegum, as others have mentioned on here. I know what head space is, I know you need to check it, and I know on the AR-15 you rarely have issues. When people generally treat me like this, I let them finish talking, and politely leave... the other problem with Doug is, he won't stop talking about how "wrong" you are for 15 minutes!

I may stop in here when I'm in Salem and bored, but as long as Doug is working here, I will never make a purchase. Higher prices are often worth better customer service but you will not find that here.

Good selection, plenty of guns you don't see often and the owner is has always been a pleasure to deal with. Prices were a little high, and I have never made a purchase, but my father and multiple friends have, and have never been disappointed. One friend purchased an FAL that had a problem with the gas system; the owner took the gun back almost a year later (my friend's business requires considerable time traveling away from home) and got it fixed free-of-charge through a local gunsmith within a week!

Mick is personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and has a sense of humor. I bought a rifle from him in January and I've arranged a transfer as well. I've also referred various friends. Mick negotiates in good faith and can be trusted. The selection of surplus military firearms is impressive. I'm going to continue to support him as much as I can.

I come here on my way to the range sometimes. They have a pretty good selection of guns, new and used, especially for a small shop. They also have a pretty good selection of ammo, especially some of the harder to find Russian stuff. The ammo is priced about right, the guns are overpriced IMO.

It is pretty annoying they don't ever answer their phone. Although it doesn't really surprise me since I feel invisible half the time I go in there. Sometimes they will ignore your questions outright. I don't think the guy is malicious I just think he's rough around the edges. He should hire some salespeople who actually like selling and just stick to gunsmithing.

Had some of my best and worst experiences with NWA. Sometimes they are incredibly helpful and polite, other times I get a cold shoulder.

Usually overpriced on everything, but not always.
