Is Gooseneck Rd gate open now? Is that shooting location accessible?

It's still dry, and I think it's likely to still be closed

Is gooseneck rd open ? was thinking of taking the family out for a little target shooting .

I imagine this now closed due to the dry hot climate and conditions. I live in Sheridan but I've not been here. I'm going to check it out this fall and see what kind of distance shots are attainable.

I will be going up to Gooseneck Road tomorrow. Are all the roads cleared and where is a good spot to sight in a rifle (up to 50 yards).

I was up there a week ago and when you take the upper road and get to the forks I went right where I normally go and it was still blocked by trees.

So, is the road clear? I have a bad hip and can't walk a mile or more much less a city block. I hope I can drive there now. Please let me know.

I believe it's open, look back thru info on Gooseneck. Somebody went up & did clean up / tree & limb removal after the storm

Has anybody found 50 yards or longer for sighting in a rifle out here?

Yes there are a couple of area's where you can shoot out to 100 yds. Safely.

Lot's of trees down as of today. Limited access.

I was there today. I did not find anything suitable for shooting a rifle. There are still a whole bunch of downed trees.
