Excellent place to talk and shop for firearms. A real gentleman.
Excellent place to talk and shop for firearms. A real gentleman. Old school no hype down to earth business. Ed is great guy no BS. Good selection of accessories. Sometimes has fresh chicken eggs for sale.
He is closing up shop April 1st 2020 and that's not an April Fools Joke.
I visited Ed's place for the first time today and he handled a transfer of a couple of lowers I was buying from NWFA member. Ed still does things old school with paper forms but it went quick. I managed to find some things I wasn't looking for but were a great deal. His shop is cozy but he has fit a ton of inventory in there including lot's of AR parts one would need in a build. Prices were great too. I wish he was closer for me but I plan to make another trip down there before he closes up shop April 1st of 2020. I would recommend you visit his shop if you are in the area. He keeps late hours from 1pm to 6pm Tue-Sat.
Can be a longer wait due to the fact there is one staff member
With multiple FFL/shops closing over the last few months, it's nice to see Ed doing so well. His hours are weird. 1-6pm Tues-Sat, but I understand he is a one man shop.
Ed's a great guy with a good peronality and good customer service. I enjoy supporting his small business versus some of the guys trying to be "big-box" retail.

Dealing with the purveyor directly

Limited stock due to small shop
I have topped by Ed's probably 4-5 times over the years. Low purchase ratio but I will say the last two times I've been in there it has been for some reasonable purchases.
His little shop area has a good amount of stuff for the space but if you say what you are looking for chances are it's around the corner.
I was working on building a lightweight and cheap AR for .22LR, upon mentioning that I didn't need anything fancy he comes around the corner with an American Tactical Hybrid upper (bought the matching lower on next trip in). I think it was like $25 and I added a dust cover and forward assist to complete the upper for $14.
Has some really inexpensive stuff in there if you want to build or accessorize.
I'll be sure to hit up his place first.
