Pros
  • Aesthetically pleasant
  • Polite staff
Cons
  • Extremely overpriced
  • Homeowner special selection
Coastal has some cool stuff, but extremely overpriced and very corporate. Tool selection is DeWalt only which says pretty much everything you need to know about their stock.

Pros
  • New guns weekly
  • Decent selection of pistols and rifles
  • Constant sales on ammo and guns
Cons
  • A little overpriced on some things
  • Accessories aren't always restocked
I go to Coastal once a week or so just to see what's on the shelves, and I'm usually never disappointed. Wide selection of pistols, rifles, and shotguns; additionally, common calibers (9mm, 5.56 etc) are usually in stock. Prices are probably better elsewhere, but not too crazy.
a big box store that still sells GUNS & AMMO

Pros
  • decent selection of ammunition
  • decent selection of long guns
  • decent selection of pistols (revolvers and semi-autos)
  • ok selection of firearm accessories
  • decent selection of optics
Cons
  • no haggling on prices
  • inconsistent personnel behind the counter, knowledge can be lacking
  • no discounts for purchasing ammo in bulk
the Sequim Coastal normally has a good selection of firearms including personnel defense and hunting shotguns, as well as hunting and plinking rifles (limited in fun black guns with detachable magazines). good selection of revolvers and semi-auto pistols. they tend to have plenty of plinking and hunting ammo in the most popular calibers (still limited in many of the more interesting cal's (10mm, 38/357, 44/44mag, 3.5 Creedmoor, etc...)
