Overall Rating

Pros
  • Always accomodating & empathetic. Returns my calls within 24 hours as promised.
  • Treats me fairly & professionally.
Cons
  • None
Brian is a genuinely good guy and as accomodating as anyone I've worked with. He has an incredibly successful business; he's VERY well-known in Central Oregon. And yes, you sometimes have to wait a little while for the best quality workmanship right in our neighborhood. Fairly priced and friendly. As a new shooter, he's an invlauable resource.

Pros
  • None!
Cons
  • Way Overpriced
  • Can’t deliver on time
  • Won’t provide an estimate before work begins
  • Does not return calls
  • Does not and will not call when work is finally complete.
  • Go to any gunsmith but this one
This shop is an extortion racket. It's the only one in town and charges like a monopoly. He can't fulfill commitments and he won't provide estimates.

No idea about this biz, but signing up just to bash the biz is just being petty and as far as I am concerned this review is worthless. His Google review is also worthless as its the only review his user name (prob also new) ever left.

I give this review 0 stars. I hope the board keeps tabs on IP addresses for users to eliminate peps. running dup. accounts to hide behind the keyboard.

Joining a forum to give a negative review is frowned upon by many. BUT how else to you spread the word about a negative experience, poor customer service or otherwise negative behavior by a vendor, seller etc.? Negative commentary does help in the decision making process and I for one like to know if someone had a less than positive interaction with a business. Having been exposed to what I consider negative business behavior or practices it is nice to know what you may experience at the beginning of a transaction.

@Idaho44, agree with you, and I would expect someone doing just this to leave a detailed explanation of the circumstances. Too many content-less "excellent" reviews on Amazon and far too many "bad" reviews on Yelp come to mind.
