I've bought a few handguns from him now and I probably will buy more. His assortment is what I'd describe as 'pawnshoppish' but in no way negative but more in a sense that you really don't know what he'll acquire next. Just read through his Classifieds history to see what I mean.
To expand upon the one con. It is home based so unlike a gun store who's hours are posted and you can just walk in, you do have to schedule. Every time I've done so has been professional and quick.

I've done many firearm transfers with him, and all have been flawless. I send my friends because it's too easy to get screwed over at a pawnshop and people don't like waiting in line at Sportsmans... he delivers a 1:1 enjoyable personal encounter every time, replete with dogtime. Super smart guy with lots firearms knowledge. He does refinishing, gunsmithing, bulk and custom ammo production, and both standard and NFA sales. He is starting up slide milling for optics as well. He also does estate sales for a very reasonable commission. Highly recommend.
