It's been a while, but here is the latest addition. 43 Remington 03a3 sporter rescue , bought here on the forum.

The scope is a Norman Texan , a copy of the Lyman Alaskan. it's sitting in 1 inch rings with adapters for 7/8 tubes. I wanted flexibility so got 1 inch and 3/4 inch rings and now can run different scopes. I actually have an Alaskan, and a Weaver 330s, but wanted to see how this scope will shoot for now.

I'm stealing this idea from orygun.
In a different thread he suggested a thread should be started on WWI & WWII rifles.
So...
Please feel free to post pictures of WWI & WWII rifles and related accoutrements.
( Web gear and leather , bayonets etc...)
Heck even period pictures of your relatives with the firearms they were issued would be neat to see.

Post 'em if you got 'em!
Andy

Lucked out on a pawn score of a Finnish M39 bayonet.
It's a reproduction but I don't care.
It's like an exotic Boogaloo side quest.
Achievement unlocked.
Rewards= not looking at my poor Sako M39 anymore and wishing it needs a bayonet.

a retired Sergent Major I know once told me "Laddy, if ya gut to use your bayonet, you've done something bloody well wrong!"
