Thank you!!!I bought a set for measuring chamber sizes in revolvers I have. I paid $90 on Ebay about a year ago. It was the .250"-.500" they work great.
Good option... Pin gauge sets are expensive and I don't see my self using it that often. Seems like a quality drill bit set could serve a duel purpose! I like it!I used a drill bit to find mine was .067"

I hear you...your advice is not falling on deaf ears and is truly appreciated. I have always prided myself on being "the right tool for the job" guy. Just trying to balance cost of rounding out AR stall, starting up reloading from scratch in this market (or lack of) and tools to keep them both running... Money tree out back has it's winter coat on!!! YikesNot really, note all the gaps in the required range...
(0.099 in.), 40 (0.098 in.), 41 (0.096 in.), 42 (0.093 in.), 43 (0.090 in.), 44 (0.086 in.), 45 (0.083 in.), 46 (0.081 in.), 47 (0.079 in.), 48 (0.076 in.), 49 (0.073 in.), 50 (0.070 in.), 51 (0.067 in.), 52 (0.064 in.), 53 - pin gauges won't have that.
Pin gauge sets like the ones listed by myself and @ar addict have a tolarance .001". Do you think a set of Harbor Freight drill bit will have tolarances like that? There are many uses for a pin gauge set beyond measuring your gas port size.
Do as you please but I stand by my previous statement here...
