Hi boys and girls, got a sweet blast from the past for you today. Up for sale is a street legal, 1984 Honda Trail CT110 with less than 4800 miles on it, a 4-speed semiautomatic transmission, clean title and new tires. It's has the unique 2 range, high/low geared transmission. In low range and 1st gear, this thing would climb up a tree! This bike is mostly original with the exception of an aftermarket carburetor and some surface wear. The original carburetor will be included with the sale, but my understanding is that it needs a seal job to run appropriately. I was quoted roughly $100 to go through it from Honda power-sports in Salem, which seemed to be mostly labor, as the seal kit was $19. A rebuilt off the shelf carb was opted for instead since it wasn't much more cost than having Honda go through the old one. After install of the rebuilt carb, it's run flawlessly for 150+ miles and starts in a kick or two every time. It gets 80+ MPG and has a rare original spare gas tank mounted left rear saddle - double the pleasure, double the fun. It's still 37 years old so does have some wear, but seems minimal. There is also strong aftermarket support if you're not afraid of a little e-commerce and YouTube. Shown locally in Eugene, well reviewed NWFA members can happily take it for a spin.
