Can I be the different guy and say I like checkered triggers? Serrated triggers do nothing for me positive or negative compared to a smooth trigger but I sure do love the aggressive grippiness a checkered trigger provides. Granted, I have no revolvers in my safe equipped with one...

All of mine are smooth, not even sure if I've ever shot a revolver w/ a serrated trigger, so I might be missing something...LOL.

It depends on the revolver.

Meaning....I prefer, a serrated trigger on my S&W D/A revolvers, While I like a smooth trigger on my SAA (yeah, that skinny thing).

Older blued Smith and Wesson's with wide target triggers are serrated.

I prefer serrated, but most I have are smooth and it's not worth swapping triggers out over, except on an EDC or most common hunting sidearm.

I find it helps finger placement for a more consistent pull, but it's not "that" big of a deal. My hunting sidearm is probably the one I most appreciate the serrated. When wearing gloves, which may be somewhat wet or a bit stiff from the cold the extra bit of grip is nice.
