I had my buddy hold my PDW and he had a big smile on his face. He said "why would anyone get a SBR when you can have one of these?" Lol. Now he wants me to build him one.... thank you Sig and BATFE :)

It shoulders very nicely and I LOVE IT!

Sig seems to be pushing the limits recently. Between the "wrist brace" and the MPX carbine - <broken link removed>

If you order the "can" for the MPX carbine it is a threaded tube with a SN on it that screws over the monolithic compensator. I'm more impressed with their ideas as time goes on...

I recently replaced the buffer tube on my pistol with a KAC pistol tube. It has a slightly larger diameter tube and holds the brace tight at the length you want and stays there. A big improvement! It's as close as you can get to a SBR in Washington State right now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you couldn't have any forward grips on a pistol.

You can not have "vertical" grips, https://www.atf.gov/files/publications/download/p/atf-p-5320-8/atf-p-5320-8-chapter-2.pdf

However, certain alterations to a pistol or revolver, such as the addition of a second vertical handgrip, create a weapon that no longer meets the definition of pistol or revolver. 14 A pistol or revolver modified as described is an "any other weapon" subject to the NFA because the weapon is not designed to be fired when held in one hand.
