ummmmmm you must be a democrat, did you not pay attention to the last election ?We can use the Ballot box for them , but another box will be needed for my #1 issue .
Looking back at the lack of fear the Black Panther Party showed against the establishment and the fear that put into the government is what shook the gun control apple cart. The BPP was unapologetic and mostly within the law, so much so they had to change the laws.
The point here being, once the establishment understands the people won't back down and have guns they have to either take the guns or change the laws. It was eaiser to change the laws because the BPP was relatively small and unpopular. Look what only a very small handful of people did at the Bundy ranch and here in Oregon.
What would happen if 100 armed citizens protest in 10 major cities in each state across the nation? Would Portland's mayor order the local police stand down like he did with ICE? Local government doesn't have the manpower they lead the public to believe. These people keep looking at the thousands at unarmed protests and think it's the same.
doesnt matter who your affiliated with...... your premise is just plain wrong,I'm a Conservative Nationalist Republican Militia Member (And we can vote out Democrats first and then sort out the Middle Left Socially Liberal Fiscally conservative types who think Funding PP is more Important than 2A/RTKBA or Securing the Southern Border ...
They're welcome to try to control my guns, but it won't turn out well for them.

Getting a 501 c3 is around $400 if I remember correctly and you'd better have (and keep) the paperwork squared up. C3's are limited respective of political acts/support/activities etc vs a c4. A little bit of violating c3 status can get the status revoked super quick when a VALID complaint is lodged and a violation of the rules occurs per the IRS. Dealing with the IRS can be a strain.
Concerning the question, "I wonder if its non-profit application can be contested in some way.", the answer, as far as I know, is no. But a legitimate/valid/factual complaint to the IRS, to the extent the c3 is violating the terms required by the IRS to have the c3 status can result in said organization losing it's c3 status. As noted below, c4's find ways to circumvent the IRS requirements but CAN be shut down with proof of violations.
501 c3's; These organizations operate for religious, charitable, scientific or educational purposes. These groups are not supposed to engage in any political activities, though some voter registration activities are permitted. Donations to these organizations are tax-deductible.
501 c4's; These are commonly referred to as "social welfare" organizations. They may engage in political activities, as long as these activities do not become their primary purpose. The IRS has never defined what "primary" means, or how a percentage should be calculated, so the current de facto rule is 49.9 percent of overall expenditures, a limit that some groups have found easy to circumvent. Donations to these groups are not tax-deductible.

Here's a hint for ya! The new buzzword for the Left is "Democratic Socialist"! Those with a little knowledge of history will remember the phrase: "Nationalist Socialist" which we fought a bitter World War to defeat.I often wonder if these 1 percent uber Rich folks are trying to get the guns out of the hands of the general Citizenry. Curious why they push so hard to remove the freedom teeth from Americans.
The "Social liberal, fiscal conservative" label is a fantasy adopted by those who wish to appear thoughtful, tolerant and reasonable; acceptable by all and at odds with none. In reality, the term is an oxymoron and impossible in practice. Social liberalism always leads to government programs which are incompatible with fiscal conservatism. Just my opinion.Guys who have " Issues" more important to them than 2A/RTKBA and who
Consider themselves " Socially Liberal And fiscally Conservative " would rather shtup a mailbox than vote Republican .
I also seem to recall history painting prohibition as a total waste of time that did almost nothing to control alcohol.I seem to recall history as painting the Prohibition Era as a very violent time??
Thanks to those that could elaborate on the subject, I was not up to retyping the article.
