I saw this at a garage sale. Wondering value as well as what it goes to? Cool looking bandoliers. Approximately 350rds

I am pretty confident it is 7.62 x 54R.

I don't think it is 303 British but I have both and often forget which one has which profile. The edges of the base on 303 British is rounded over so I am confident it is the Russian round.

Nope, I was wrong. It looks like 303 British to me. It has a considerably higher shoulder than 7.62x54R and a more pronounced taper..

5 rounds in a stripper clip isn't going to be worth much. If you have a good quantity of it you might get a small prize for it.

Bring it to the Washougal gun show tomorrow and we'll have a look. First guess is 8x57 Mauser.
ETA Not Mauser. I didn't see the rim.

Fairly quick Google search indicates it's likely .303 British. RG marking indicates Ministry of Supply Factory (later Royal Ordnance Factory), Radway Green, Cheshire manufacturer between 1942-1973. Purple primer varnish indicates the round to be ball and short range practice.

Edit: Probably from 1950 based on the 2 digit year code. Not sure what the "7" signifies but lots of the headstamps show VII...
