Make one of these out of titanium and screw on to the end of a barrel, or possibly slip on. Super compact, super effective silencer (not suppressor, in this case). Noise canceling ear buds that are truly noise canceling. The list goes on and on. Very cool.

For the higher pressures and velocities, it might need some tuning and be longer. But might actually be something to make them more compact.
