I recently removed all the parkerization finish off of the very good quality, AK-47 bolt carrier. I got tired of it black and I wanted it shiny so I could be hip with my ghetto friends. Anyway, after six hours of work, removing the finish and getting it shiny and bright, I'm worried about it oxidizing. What do you recommend to keep the metal bright and shiny besides polishing it every time I look at it! Thank you for the hints and the tips.

Bimart has the best price $11.00 for a 10oz tub . You can use this stuff on aluminum , brass , copper , chrome , gold , silver , steel , stainless , glass water spots ...... it is like hot sauce :) . You'll thank me later . ;)

64Merc, thank you for confirming. I use mothers religiously and have shined this piece with it as well. I will keep using mothers, as well as oiling it between uses.
