Too bad they will still vote the same way. Just like people fleeing Cali and NY. They flee the extremely high taxes and failed politics and then vote the same way.

I think this is true when they find like minded people. When they are exposed to something positive it's possible people will gravitate towards that.

I got lucky with the circle of people I found myself in when I moved here. Living in the city, even Los Angeles doesn't mean your eyes have to stay closed.
