The main quarry pit pictured above is now back open. I was up there this past sunday (1-18-09) and there are signs up stating that its ok to shoot again. They do say that you are only allowed to shoot at paper or wood targets, no plastic or glass. A Tillamook Sheriff deputy stopped by and told the few other that were shooting at milk jugs that it wasn't ok.
Don't know how long it will be open but just do us all a favor and clean up after yourself when you are though. Next time I go up, somtime this week, I will take a pic of the posting with the rules.
ATM there is still some snow on the roads, but I was able to get up there fine in my Audi A4 with not much of an issue.
