This is a RAD 1911 chambered in 45ACP that I modified to shoot 45 super. If you don't know what 45 super is, it's a thicker case head than 45acp and uses a heavier powder charge, bringing your muzzle energy to around 650-850 Ft/Lbs. All while still being able to shoot 45acp because they are dimensionally identical. Some of these loads can put 10mm to shame. Very fun caliber.
Gun has less than 500 rounds on it and runs super smooth. Nice and clean. Unfortunately I need cash for car stuff so I'm gonna pass this sweet kit on.
We have a Springfield emissary 45acp with a 5" bull barrel.
Changed to a 26lb recoil spring and a 25lb hammer spring to accommodate the heavy 45 super loads.
White rear sight with tritium yellow dot front.
Really nice grips and very comfortable serrations and ergos. A dream to shoot.
