Safe in a dank garage

Wedge anchors in the concrete. As tight to the wall as possible. Along with Lag bolts to the wall studs. A dehumidifier inside to keep things dry. I bolt my safe to the wall and floor. No gaps of any kind. Gaps are pry points.

Good suggestion. That's exactly what I did with mine. My garage isn't so "dank" though. Thanks goodness....:

One of my safes I use to keep not always needed guns in (the classics that never get taken out and the NIB suckers I just have) never really gets opened. Its in a good spot but still its not getting opened on a regular bases. So it has two heating rods in it and a muffin fan on a digital timer that turns on for 15 min every 6 hrs. This moves the heat and air around in the safe to even out the environment. I do have a monitor in it but nothing external. So far its worked great.
