I too was hoping to hear that there was elk carcasses flying through the air, from mistepping on a hidin mine?!

Landmines.. are NOT elk pellets... Landmines.. are cowpatties! Landmine - A turd or fecal matter larger than a booger..

Elk droppings dont count as "landmines"

Got your attention though...

I consider anything big enough to swallow a bootprint a landmine. Especially when fresh and gooey. I did witness one that must've come from a Bull with a gastric problem...

the obvious answer to concerns about shooting in the city areas is to open it up for bow hunting.

I live in Longview up off Columbia Heights and I am seeing elk up here all the time. Last week I had twenty head run right through my yard and down my street. I don't live right in town, but we are only up over the hill from it.

Pretty cool though.
