It is first come first serve. Primary courtesy is to ask if those already there will share the lane. If they don't wish to, it's common to wait or go to another lane. Usually some one will be willing to share a lane. On busy days it's common to be onsite before sun up if you want first pick. Courtesy goes along way, but some like to shoot privately and it's best to let them if they do not with to share.

Understandable... I had it happen once before on lane one. The guy told me he was teaching his son and preferred to shoot alone. Totally acceptable. I just found it pretty off putting this guy was saving all of lane four both bench for people who werent even there and from what I know lane four is made for two parties anyways
