Hard to go wrong with a classic design. A mannlicher in curly maple would look sweeeeeet...and probably also be too muchI don't know how rare they are but I like the look of the Sporter version - especially the Lipsey's run.

I bought a stainless butt plate for mine from I believe Numrich. Not sure though, but it's a good place to look.I'm looking for a replacement butt plate, the new ones come with a plastic one, any recommendations?
Were those sights standard? Look much better than the ones on my ruger barrel. Peep sight up front? This was the contest winner version for their 50th anniversary. No longer have it, but it was a unique one. They only produced so many of them.

I have one from 1967 that is still NIB.I think the rarest form would be a non modified absolutely stock 10/22
Pics!I picked up a 1966 10/22 mannlicher stock all original.....really cool old gun
NICE, probably should delete the one with the serial #, but what a nice rifle!
Just not wise. One of the Mods could help you if you want it down.I'm lucky I got the dam pic up there I have no idea how to take it down.....what's it gonna hurt?
