This is my go-to FFL and store. It's a smaller place, so their selection is somewhat limited, but the place has a great selection of accessories and firearms, regardless. I've completed multiple transfers here without issue and their fees are fair.
All of the guys who work here have been super helpful and awesome to talk to. They are always willing to spend as much time as they need to helping narrow down choices, teach, and source parts or firearms. They're even willing to refer people to other shops if they have the item in question. Love talking to the guys there and always look forward to going in!
Friendly great service. Nice selection. Usually you are helped within seconds of entering the store. Nice location for West side people.

Great place to browse and get hands on knowledge on firearms, especially for folks new to firearms, as the staff is quite friendly, respectful, patient and knowledgeable.
The shop is well-lit and organized, uncluttered.
Probably some of the best customer service I've experienced at a gun shop. The guys here are informative, not pushy or super opinionated and usually a lot of fun to chat with.
Cons
Firearm selection can be lacking at times. They stock up pretty regularly tho
I've bought several pistols from this shop, along with a few cans. The guys here are friendly, informative & helpful without being overly opinionated about whatever.
This is the place I recommend to anyone looking to buy a firearm for the first time. Good prices, great trade in offers, etc. Just wish they had a bigger shop so they could stock more stuff, but to their point they're usually able to order whatever you might want at a very competitive price.
Very friendly and informative on suppressor laws and the process of obtaining one the steps you need to go through . Also good selection of ammo accessories optics used guns and pistol selection . they seem to always have the odd guns nobody else has . Hours of operation 7 days a week is very convenient for working class .
Nothing but good vibes from this place. Only Authentic Products. Serious gear at a good price with a decent inventory. Plentiful availability. Timmy is my Go-to Team Member. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Great Customer service and supportive staff with every visit.
Friendly staff. They installed my gas tube pin into my gas block. Charged me $10 which seemed fair for the convenience since I had misplaced that punch size and I wanted it done ASAP.
Limited selection but they do have some stuff if you're looking.
I have been in here many times. Usually just to browse with nothing in mind. I have bought a couple guns here though. The guys that work there are always very kind, decently knowledgeable, and helpful! Even if I'm just looking around. One of my favorite gun stores in the Portland area for sure!
James was very friendly and helpful over via email which made me go into the store and do business.
Had the pistol I was hunting for when others did not
James was very friendly and helpful over via email which made me go into the store and do business. Was answering all my questions when there was no money to be made. At that point I decided to go in and give them my business.
A little light on guns, but who wasn't at the time
Every time I have been to J&B, the people there have been really attentive and helpful. I have purchased several accessories and firearms there and gotten great advice each time.
I have found the folks there to be very honest. I wanted to put a pistol there on consignment, but they said it would not be the optimum time to do so they could have certainly taken the pistol in and lowballed the value, but they did not. The store did not have a great deal of inventory at the time, so it would have been to their advantage to do so. Bottom line is that they look out for their customers.
