I suggest you go to sportsman's warehouse or fisherman's marine and outdoor and ask the staff working in that area for suggestions on location and gear depending on the type of fish and fishing you want to do, they're more than happy to help people new to fishing.
If you're going fly fishing, NWFFO on Halsey is in goods hands and going strong.

Throw on some rain gear. Some of my best days fishing happened while it was raining.
I'll switch mode. Target shooting 22's and recording at home. Then fishing tomorrow morning.

Any good spots around yamhill county you could suggest?
Hagg Lake is the only place I know of out your way. A fee to get in and open only daylight hours. Lots of bank access and two nice boat ramps. Planted trout and small and largemouth bass. Early in the year is better for aesthetics as the lake drops pretty low by August.

What do you think about this one?

Haven't been there in some time, and don't recall the spot well. IF, they allow fishing off the dock? And there is a rocky shoreline, there will be some smallmouth bass. Some curly-tail grubs in natural colors on a 1/8-1/4 oz jig head will get smallie's attention. Fish imitating lures, Rapala might work, though are spendy and a miss-cast could leave it hanging in overhanging brush. Or toss a half of nightcrawler out with an 1/8"-1/4" sliding sinker. There are most likely squawfish, pea mouth that would take that.
The 3"-4" grubs were always my go-to bait. Remember, clear water = natural colors. cloudy water dark, black/brown with bright green /chartreuse highlights.

Yes they allow fishing in the dock. It looks like a good setup besides I havent tried it yet. I was thinking about getting like an Oregon park season pass.
