Great acronym -- sounds like "magic"

EDIT: MDA sounds like some drug or disease

The "Moms" part of the name MDA has a very endearing ring to it to which politicians love to be associated. The name also has, to a certain degree, helped insulate them from any criticism, especially from gun owners, who in the majority are male. I find it a good, as well as righteous strategy to use the name for the pro-rights cause. And while we're at it, we also need to take back the term "gun safety", which they use as a euphemism for gun control and gun confiscation.
