After so many insightful comments on my last post I thought I'd post this 92 for insights. It's chambered in 32 WCF. Has a 20" barrel. Rear sight looks to me to have been added later. Everything else looks original. Serial dates at 1905 based on online searches? It weights 5.75 pounds. Interesting that this 92 has a carbine style forearm and barrel band...and crescent ( rifle ) style butt plate.
Also it appears that the muzzle end is sorta rifle style as well...and not carbine style.
I say sorta...'cause it looks kinda odd....not really factory.

With that said...
Winchester did do strange things at times with their rifles and carbines .

It looks to my eye that this 92 much like your 94 has had some user modifications.
Not really a bad thing....just something to consider.
Andy
