What surprises me most about this is how low Texas' numbers are, and how high Mass and Connecticut are.

I have the same problem. I came in from the shop yesterday and the wife was looking at classes at the local community college. She mentioned that they have a womens guns safety course with a female instructor and a one day shooting class live fire at a local range. I held my breath and was hoping she wanted to sign up.

Didn't happen but I'm getting closer if she looked at it.

Ditto. My better half is licensed and packs. My sister too.

Beyond that, I'm a little surprised by how low the percentages are in general. And some, like Nebraska and New Mexico, are as low as 2-5%. Granted, I'm seeing this from the perspective of someone who's carried daily for a couple decades.
