Yes, unfortunately they are rugby ball shaped to such a degree that there is little effect.

Just a little suggestion I've found even with some holographic sights like my vortex UH-1, the reticle is still blurry due to my astigmatism, I have found that Prism sights have helped and are super clear for me, the Vortex Spitfire 1x or 3x is a super clear optic and is honestly very affordable.

Thanks dude, I actually haven't tried a holosight so I'll be sure to verify that it doesn't suck for me before buying! I think an LPVO would work well for me.
