I've had a few Filipino 1911's and recommend them.
GLWS.

Curiosity:
How does this pistol point, shoot, and handle recoil with bobtail grip?
Larger hands may find grip a challenge?

Shoots great. The bobtail doesn't change anything except the grip poking into my palm. My hands aren't huge, recoil and grip are very comfortable.
