I bought this rifle from a coworker sight unseen with the intention to rebarrel/rebore and restock. Once I saw it, I realized that it's way too nice for what I have planned. I figure someone out there would probably enjoy it just the way it is. I'm certainly no Remington expert, but these old rifles seem really well made. In a day of black finishes and cheap plastic stocks, this just feels like a solid rifle with nice bluing and nice wood.
I'm willing to meet at any FFL in the Portland area, from Forest Grove to Troutdale. You pay the transfer fee and background check. I'd like $525 cash for everything, but am open to trades (firearms only). Not interested in bait, fishing charters, or barters for auto or carpentry work, etc.
Remington 721 chambered in 270 Winchester
-Factory stock
-Bishop stock
-Weaver K4-1 (last of the USA scopes?)
-Weaver bases and rings
-Lyman peep
-Side scope mount (Griffin & Howe?)
First set of images show the rifle in the BISHOP stock with Weaver K4-1:
Last set of images show the rifle in the FACTORY stock with Lyman peep:
