Port Orford and south to the California border are referred to as the banana belt due to moderate temps in the Winter.

I'm a member at TCGC, but I have shot a couple speed steel matches at APRC and had a great time. Felt welcomed on both occasions. I hope to make it down there again this year for some more matches.

The banana belt is Brookings, Gold Beach, Carpenterville and other points South of Port Orford on the coast. I'm a member of ARPC, but it is a long drive to Gold Beach. The closest I find is Josephine County.
