Exceptionally clean Win 70 in pre-war configuration with appropriate wing safety. Only 1% of Win 70s in 'Carbine' length. Discontinued in 1946 (according to Roger Rule's book).
Wood, checkering are excellent, bluing is excellent. Slight discoloration or wood on left-side of butt at the metal plate.
Lyman 48W aperture rear sight, integral ramp front sight with hood.
Slight scratch on floor plate; doesn't appear to have been carried much at all.
Matching bolt. Outstanding bore.
