How's the finish holding up on the liberador? I almost bought one just for giggles but I didn't know how the gold parts would hold up. How has reliability been with Girsan? Thx!

Hi,
It has been a great gun. The finish has held up extremely well. I have used it at the range quite a bit, and I have to say out of the box, it shoots very accurate. The only thing I found, it does not like other 1911 magazines, I have to use the originals. I also think the recoil is very light, just been a good gun.

Smith &Wesson performance center 4.25 inch. My EDC
Colt Wiley Clapp series 70. Currently my favorite 1911 in my stable.
Ruger series 70 davidson's exclusive 5 inch rail gun wearing a x300 and CT grips. My bump in the night solution.

-Stacatto XC 9MM (I know, not a 1911 technically)
-Springfield TRP Operator full rail 45 ACP
-Dan Wesson PMA-S PointMan 45 ACP (Pre CZ)
-Kimber .22LR upper on Caspian frame
-Colt 1991A1 Commander 45 ACP
-Kimber Target II 9mm and 38 Super
-Kimber Tactical Pro II 9mm
-Clark Custom overhaul on a 1921 Colt, 45 ACP
- No make or model, think it's originally a Caspian frame, Colt slide, Clark barrel. The grip was chopped and flared magwell welded in. Was an old Pin gun, 45 ACP.
-Kimber Custom CDP 45 ACP
