Just sharing this. I'm not expressing an opinion on who to vote for, who Im voting for, just sharing information.
I know many here don't like Facebook but its a post from a pro gun attorney Tony L. Aiello about a write in campaign for Oregon's Supreme Court and Court of Appeals judges.
The Facebook post is public so no worried about reading it, just click on it and it will open. Its Aiello's opinion on a write in campaign for pro 2A judges.

The problem with voting for Oregon's judges is there is virtually never any choices. One theory suggests the reason is lawyers never run against incumbent judges for fear of retribution. The result is when they retire their replacement is appointed by the governor.

When you check your Oregon Voter Pamphlet for the races for judges in the Oregon Supreme Court and the Oregon Court of Appeals you'll note that your choices are.. wait, there are no choices. Much like any third world, socialist, hell hole, Oregon gives you the choice to vote for exactly one candidate. Most Oregon judges are appointed because most Oregon Judges (oddly) retire before their term is up meaning they have to be replaced, not by the people, but by the Governor. Then, they are the "incumbent" and lawyers rarely run against them for fear of retribution should they wind up in their courtroom. When the merry go round completes another revolution that judge retires early and his replacement is…picked by the governor. Rinse and repeat. Judges are the only offices that are noted on your ballot as "incumbents." What a coincidence. Every single "candidate" for the Oregon Supreme Court and the Oregon Court of Appeals is already on the court. In no case do you have a choice. You may vote for whomever you like as long as it is the only candidate running. While this is a terrible system, one "race" is particularly troubling. The coronation for Appeals Court Judge Position 6. There your "choice" is…Jim Egan. (See "non partisan candidates.") And that should send chills up your spine if you still have any shred of faith in Oregon's Judicial System. Egan, you may recall, was the "judge" who declared gun owners to be racist, anti-semitic, white supremacists in an unhinged rant against the people's vote to create a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary in Columbia County. You can read his entire demented screed here. Egan is unfit to appear in a courtroom let alone serve as a judge. His mindless hatred for law abiding Americans disqualifies him from any job that requires a measure of impartiality. In spite of his clear bigotry against gun owners, he has refused to recuse himself from the appeal of the Measure 114 injunction. And that, like the entire system, is a disgrace. This hateful bigot is going to win re-election because the dice are loaded. But you don't have to participate. In this election we suggest you write in our attorney Tyler Smith, who Egan directed his mindless attacks against. A small gesture in a game that's rigged. But a gesture non-the- less. Thought that I would share this from OFF. I know that some don't care for them for whatever reason, but this is important, especially if you are unaware of the scam of selecting Judges in Oregon. It blew me away, even though I had a clue on how the system was rigged.

I don't think I got a choice at all. Or if I did, I didn't like either of em. Incumbents nearly the whole ballot though. I listed "nobody" in the write in spot because I'm not just going to consent to an incumbent keeping their throne only because there's no other choice

So remember to add Tyler Smith to the list from above. Cross out Justice Egan, write in Tyler Smith along with list that Aiello gave us above. There's a whole group of folks I we're helping with their vote this time around because so many people are so fed up with the direction of this state and country for that matter. Like the crap Charlie Conrad, that turncoat traitor did.. primary him out of there, and get Darrin Harbick in .

Just some cursory searches on those name.... Ok! I'm in! It won't make any difference anyway, but if enough people are following the same plan it might send the message that "the natives aren't happy" and starting to coatless against them.

seems like its a little late in the game for this ballot, but it would be a great strategy if someone like Aiello campaigned a write in strategy well enough to get voters on board for the next time these judges go on the ballot.

In the past few elections concerning unopposed incumbents I always wrote in, "Pedro" (because offers you his protection).

At least I'll have some viable names to actually write in this time!

It's not true that all incumbents are bad. Both Michelle Vlach-Ing and Martin Haberkost are constitutionalists. I believe we need more judges that will follow the law and not legislate from the bench. It takes quite a bit of digging to get information on judges because they need to appear to be unbiased.
