You are too kind Sir, just doing what I love to do, fish and have a good time.Mr Caveman was kind enough to host our annual father/daughter fishing trip again ...yesterday. This year our grandson came along for the first time...and the 4 year old caught his first fish ever in Caveman's nice boat. Just a perfect day!
Big Thanks to Caveman Jim ... who always makes it look easy. Gentleman and skilled angler!
Build back better and the world will beat a cubicle to your door.Nothing to see here, get back to work. I may as well be at work Hell, ain't nothing going on here at the river. At least my office chair and view beat a cubicle.

Glad for you that you still have the drive to get out there and do that.Caveman managed to hook onto a huge attitude today, no slimers wanted to party…
I used to feel like that too. Then fishing the way I liked, dwindling runs, and the rude/stoopid people, all put together with not catching what WAS there and $200.00 for the two of us to just fish for springers, summer steelhead and fall chinook? Sold a ton of my gear and haven't bought their GD salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, HALIBUT(?) tag (For Christ's sake!), in three years. I only took one half day trip since last October 5th to fish the willy for bass. Thank god for Sta-Bil gas treatment is all I can say!Good that you guys had some action on the warm water species, I'd like to partake next year if possible.
The way I see it, If I don't fish I'll just shrivel up and die.
Yesterday's solo trip took it out of me, recuperating today…
Oh man, that IS a nice bass!!Jane, as usual, gets big bass of the trip at 4.6 lbs.
No kidding! Out of the three weeks we were gone there were probably four days we didn't fish! I was doing some funky creative body contortions casting for bass. And jerking for perch didn't help. Ice was my friend some nights. We pitched spinners all day, I'm not used to that anymore and am sore from standing so much.
But I'll live to fish another day.
