I've seen at least 4 different rimfire handguns in the last 24 hours that I consider a good buy . Last one was posted less than an hour ago and is already sold.

Bump those numbers up.you mean like learning that the human race has 78 genders ,
When I quit smoking they were around $2 a pack. Tried a few times. Last time what I did was set a jar on the dresser. Each day tossed a couple bucks in it since this would have been about what I would have spent. As the jar filled up my will to NOT give in increased till they were finally beat.Short answer :
Yes.
Long answer :
Yes , prices both new and used in regards to firearms and ammunition are going up.
With that said...
It is important to remember that...
2000 , 1990 , 1980 , 1970 , 1960 , etc...are long gone and times ( and prices ) have changed.
Buy what you want , when you can....
Bulk ammo is nice....but...even when buying just a box or two when you can...it adds up.
Also worth considering....
Drop the coffee shack , going out to eat , ordering in / delivery service , cut back or quit smoking / drinking...
EEK..on that last...love a good beer...
Just saying that the above are nice....but so is ammo or a new / new to you gun...and cutting back or quitting those , can get you some pocket money.

I did something else to keep my hands busy. When I quit smoking I built car models to keep my hands busy.
That can lead to other issues. 'Specially if you were more than a pack-a-dayer.I did something else to keep my hands busy.
