I am interested in the trigger, I love .308's and my Armalite AR 10 has a darn good trigger. The Ruger might benefit from a butt Pad In any case I really do like how lightly you can carry 5.56 in a significant amount, but it just does not compare to 7.62 x 51 for knockdown power or range. I have (more correctly the Warden has) a Daniels Defense M4 in 5.56 so I am hedging my bets some. Anyway I really think I like the new Ruger.

Yeah me to but for the money just build one yourself. I started with a MaTen from Mega and ended up around the same price and well I would much rather have Billet and a scope the way I want it.
