So, time to head to your local ramp for some nautical FUN!! Not to worry if you don't have a ramp.
Hold someone's beer and watch this>>>>>>>>

As a rescue/salvage boat captain for 11 years I can assure you that these things happen quite often.

The things I have seen make me want to head up to the mountains on opening day.

Or pack a picnic and head over to the public launch at Shilshole. Now that's an entertaining weekend. :)

Always talked about going to one of the big ramps here on a sunny week nd and watch the antics. Never got around to doing it though. Now I don't fish for salmon and steelhead anymore.

I was always lucky to be able to fish week days. In early and out between 1:00-3:00! Fishermen do dumb stuff too, but they're much more likely to be on top of the game weekdays early AM. On a rare occasion I'd fish a weekend in summer. In the water before sun-up and out by 10:00am.

Statistics show that we lose more fools on this day than in all the other days of the year put together. This proves, by the number left in stock, that one Fourth of July per year is now inadequate, the country has grown so.
