They are beauts for sure. I had the SAM7 milled and it was too pretty and heavy to be treated like a filthy beast (as it should be) so I sold it.
I hear you it is hard to give a pretty gun the beat down the first scratch is a heart breaker ! This is why you get a old Fal that is pre scratched lol !
 
I used to own this little monster. Even with a four-piece flash hider, she could put on quite a show.

I still have 2 ARSENAL SGL20s and a SGL21 built on SAIGA guns I bought back in around 2009.

and I have a Zastava ZPAP92 pistol,

all in 7.62x39 and I am sure if you dig deep enough the pics of them are still floating around on the pages of this forum
 
I had a really nice Czechoslovakian made AK years ago that I really regret trading off. Would be cool to just still have in the safe. Like what I got for it but I just really wasn't a fan of my capabilities of hitting the broad side of a barn with it, or any AK for that matter. Ended up sticking with the AR platform.
