Buddy caught this, I told him it's one thing, but he's convinced it's a different one.

Hatchery (no adipose) Coho. The gums... it's ain't a chinock... and tail... it ain't a steelhead. Young'in can be confusing, but by process of elimination. 👍
 
Now what about that dorsal?
Immature females can appear something like that, but kinda funky, hu. There can be more deviations in youngins so I was just looking at it on a "more charactristics than not" basis.

Ha! So I said steelhead. He was sure it was a King, but I don't think they stock Kings in that river. Either way, he's good with the fin clip. I told him he best be sure next time he pulls it out of the river.
