Help with threading AK barrel

I have a FEG SA 85M AK that does not have a threaded barrel. Looking to get it threaded bit not sure if there is enough room from front sight to end of barrel. Just over 1/2in of real estate. Thoughts?

I'd be surprised if soldered, sure to be just pressed on, and seems little trouble if in the way for whoever threads it to move / remove /replace as needed to do the threading.

Yeah I'm definitely more of an AR guy but looking to upgrade my AK.

Does the front sight block have the ability to accept detent plunger/spring assembly?

you will need a kit with die and alignment tool
also a fsb with spring and detent
