We have the 2nd Amendment in it it states in part :
..."the right of the people to keep and bear Arms , shall not be infringed."

As a "people" if we are to be free and independent , we need the means of remaining safe and secure.
One of the ways to remain safe and secure is to have a firearm , the skill to use it and the willingness to do so.

If ones chooses not to own a firearm...then , that is fine for them....No is saying that everyone must own a firearm.
But to make that choice for others , goes against what our Bill of Rights was created for.
